In addition to the two Hallby teams, 22 other teams played in Pojkar 16. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IF Hallby HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with IK Sävehof 1, RP IF Linköping 3 and IFK Skövde HK 3.
IF Hallby HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kärra HF with 9-20. In the Final, Kärra HF won over RP IF Linköping 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 16. IF Hallby HK also participated in Pojkar 01-02 during Skadevi Handbollscup 2017.
